- In 1987: U2 find what they’re looking for with their tremendously successful album “The Joshua Tree.”
- In 1987: Whitesnake releases their popular single "Still of the Night". The video goes on to be a favorite of guys everywhere, as the video ends with lead singer David Coverdale being dragged away by the Sex Police.
