This Day in Rock History for February 8
- In 1964: Francis Hall, then President of Richenbacher, visits George Harrison's sick bed at the Plaza Hotel New York gives him the world's second electric twelve string guitar, the Rickenbacher 360/12. The 360/12's unique jangle became an essential part of the 65-66 Beatles signature sound heard prominently on a "A Hard Day's Night."
